We believe in pursuing education in all aspects of the tree care industry.

New Jersey Board of Tree Experts

certifiedRory MacInnis is one of only a few NJ Certified Tree Experts in southern Ocean County. The CTE credential was developed by the NJ Board of Tree Experts (1940) as a way to set a standard for tree work in New Jersey. The board developed an extensive, intensive examination based on all aspects of tree health and maintenance in order to assess an applicant’s knowledge and ensure the highest standards and expectations for the industry are met. The CTE is the only credential recognized by the state for the tree care industry. Certified Tree Experts are the most knowledgeable and ethical tree care professionals in the state. Please visit the NJ Board of Tree Experts website for the most recent information regarding this credential. A bill which was recently proposed and passed converts the credential from a certification to a license. This change will help the board to better regulate the industry to ensure safety, proper tree care and accountability.
